Usage
Trehalose is a natural disaccharide with excellent moisturizing, water retention and protein protection properties. It is widely used in food industry as a humectant, sweetener, stabilizer and preservative to maintain food freshness, prevent dehydration and improve taste and texture.
It is also applied in cosmetics and personal care products as a high-efficiency moisturizer and skin protectant to lock skin moisture, relieve dryness and repair skin barrier.
