Usage
Testing nickel and niobium, measuring selenium by spectrophotometry. Testing vanadium. Separating ozone from nitrogen oxides and hydrogen peroxide. Used to distinguish nitrous acid, hydrogen peroxide, and ozone. Fluorescent indicators for acid-base titration (green fluorescence at pH ≤ 3.1, fluorescence disappears at pH ≥ 4.4), chelating precipitating agents, reducing agents. Ortho-phenylenediamine (OPD) is a substrate for peroxidase, suitable for ELISA enzyme-linked reactions. This substrate produces a soluble end product that is orange-brown and can be read at 450 nm with a spectrophotometer. The OPD reaction can be stopped with 3N HCl or 3M H2SO4 and read at 492 nm.
Used as a chemical raw material, pesticide, and dye intermediate。
This product is an intermediate for dyes, pesticides, additives, and photosensitive materials. It itself is the dye Leather Yellow Brown M. It's used to make polyamides, polyurethanes, the fungicides carbendazim and thiabendazole, the reducing agent Red GG, leveling agents, anti-aging agent MB, and is also used to prepare developers, surfactants, and more.
Ortho-phenylenediamine is an intermediate for the fungicides carbendazim, methyl thiophanate, and thiophanate-methyl, and also for the insecticide quinalphos. Besides that, it's an important intermediate in the dye industry.
Used as an intermediate for cationic dyes, it's the main raw material for the pesticide carbendazim and other antifungal agents.
Used as an analytical reagent and fluorescent indicator, and also in the synthesis of organics and dyes.
