Usage
The inhibitory effect of ferulic acid on bacteria is more extensive. It has been found that ferulic acid can inhibit the propagation of pathogenic bacteria such as Shigella sonnei, Pneumonia, Enterobacteriaceae, Escherichia coli, Citrobacter citri, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and 11 kinds of microorganisms that cause food corruption.
Ferulic acid can inhibit platelet aggregation, expectorant, and inhibit tuberculosis. In clinical practice, ferulic acid is mainly used for the adjuvant treatment of vascular diseases such as arteriosclerosis, coronary heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, glomerular disease, pulmonary hypertension, diabetes vascular disease, vasculitis, and leukopenia and thrombocytopenia. It can be used for the treatment of migraine and vascular headache. As a leukocytic drug, the drug also has the effect of enhancing hematopoietic function. Therefore, ferulic acid can also be used in the treatment of leukopenia and thrombocytopenia.
