Its chemical name is 3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexyl salicylate, which can absorb UVB295 ～ 31Chemicalbook 5nm ultraviolet light. It has been approved by the US FDA, Europe, Japan and Australia to be used as sunscreen chemicals to protect the skin from UVB radiation damage.
