Usage
Ammonium lignosulfonate, also known as ammonium lignin sulfonate, is a water-soluble anionic polymer. With excellent properties such as dispersibility and adhesion, it is widely used in agriculture, construction, industrial manufacturing and other fields. Its specific applications are as follows:
1. Agricultural Field
- Fertilizer-related Uses: It is rich in nitrogen, potassium, as well as trace elements like zinc and iron. It serves not only as a high-quality organic fertilizer but also as a binding agent for fertilizer granulation, which enhances the strength of fertilizer granules and prevents breakage during transportation and use. Meanwhile, it acts as an efficient dispersant carrier for pesticide wettable powders, preventing pesticide particles from sedimentation and stratification to ensure uniform efficacy. Additionally, as a fertilizer synergist and soil amendment, it helps improve soil fertility and crop growth conditions.
- Feed Raw Material: Containing a large amount of carbohydrates, various amino acids, minerals and other nutrients, it can be added to livestock and poultry feed as a raw material to supplement nutrition for animal growth. It is environmentally friendly and biodegradable, causing no adverse effects on animal organisms or the environment.
2. Construction and Building Materials Field
- Concrete Admixture: As a retarding superplasticizer, it can extend the operable time of concrete, facilitating construction processes such as pumping and pouring. It can also reduce cement usage by 10-15%, lowering construction costs while ensuring concrete performance.
- Refractory and Ceramic Auxiliary: When used as a binder for refractory materials, it enhances the bonding strength and high-temperature stability of refractory materials, prolonging their service life in high-temperature environments. As a ceramic green body strengthener, it improves the strength of ceramic green bodies, reduces breakage rate during ceramic firing, and increases the yield of ceramic products.
3. Other Industrial Fields
- Mining and Mineral Processing: It can be used as a flotation agent in mineral flotation, enhancing the separation effect between useful minerals and gangue to improve the recovery rate of useful minerals. It can also be applied in smelting granulation to enhance the granulation quality of smelting raw materials.
- Oilfield and Coal Chemical Industry: It serves as a drilling mud thinner, effectively controlling the fluid viscosity of mud during drilling to ensure the smooth progress of drilling operations. In coal-water slurry production, it improves the stability and fluidity of coal-water slurry, facilitating the storage, transportation and combustion of coal-water slurry.
- Others: It can be used in asphalt emulsification to enhance the stability of emulsified asphalt. It is also applicable in the field of synthetic resins and adhesives, utilizing its adhesion to improve the bonding effect of products. Compared with some synthetic auxiliaries, it has higher cost performance, reducing production costs for enterprises.
