Usage
This product serves as an intermediate for the pharmaceutical Fenarol and also functions as a stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Similar to thioglycolic acid, it can be used in transparent products and exhibits excellent thermal stability, outperforming other stabilizers. It also serves as an antioxidant, catalyst, and biochemical reagent. 3-Mercaptopropionic acid is an intermediate for Fenarol and is used as a PVC stabilizer. Similar to thioglycolic acid (Chemicalbook), it can be used in transparent products with very good stability, superior to other stabilizers. It can also be used as an antioxidant, catalyst, and biochemical reagent. It is suitable for high-speed RP-HPLC/FC analysis of amino acids and is a suitable reagent for amino acid analysis via OPA (ortho-phthalaldehyde). It is used in pharmaceutical intermediates, electronic chemicals, etc.
