It has been found that ferulic acid can inhibit the propagation of pathogenic bacteria such as Shigella sonnei, Pneumonia, Enterobacteriaceae, Escherichia coli, Citrobacter citri, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and 11 kinds of microorganisms that cause food corruption.
Ferulic acid can inhibit platelet aggregation, expectorant, and inhibit tuberculosis.
