 Usage

Phenethyl resorcinol is an effective whitening ingredient developed by Symrise Company. It has a strong antioxidant effect and strongly inhibits the activity of tyrosinase, thereby reducing the production of melanin. Skin tests showed that in the absence of exposure to light, 0.5% concentration of 377 was more effective than 1% concentration of kojic acid. In 2012, the China Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) approved phenethyl resorcinol as a cosmetic ingredient for use in cosmetics.
